Today the theme for Favorite Ingredients Friday is healthy food. My recipe is a smoothie. There is no added sugar in this smoothie except the natural sugar found in the fruits and the yogurt is low fat. Enjoy!

Summer Breezes Smoothies
~
1 cup plain low-fat yogurt
4 strawberries
1 cup crushed pineapple
1 banana
6 ice cubes
1 tsp. vanilla
~
Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend. Serve immediately. Enjoy!

We love these too! Instead of using ice cubes we freeze our getting-too-ripe bananas and use those. It's a great way to start the day.

I make smoothies for Snuggle Bug quite frequently so I'll have to try this one. One thing he likes is if I make his smoothies into popsicles. :)
