Last weekend, we all went to the park. This was a new park that we had not been to before. It is about a 10 minute drive from our house and the kids really enjoyed it. This park has a neater slide than the others we have been going to visit. I also noticed that this park has a really nice picnic area. A shelter and several gazabos with built in picnic tables, so we are going to have several outings to this park this summer and have some picnics. It has been so hot lately, that I always take a small cooler filled with bottled water and sippies. The kids are always ready for a cold drink as are my husband and I. This park visit I also took some of those freezer popcickles and the kids loved those, but we ate those as soon as we got to the park because I did not know how long they would last in the cooler because I only had the blue ice pack in the cooler, usually that is all I ever use. So, anyways, we will be visiting the park more this summer and hey it's FREE!~

That is great.. It's always nice to have a nice place to take the kids when they get sick of being home!!!
I love discovering a new park. It's great to find new places to explore right in your own town.
