Saucy Apricot Chicken

6 boneless skinless chicken breat halves (about 1 1/2 pounds)
2 jars (12 ounces each) apricot preserves
1 envelope onion soup mix
Hot Cooked Rice

Place chicken in a slow cooker. combine the preservatives and onion soup mix; spoon over chicken. Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours or until tender. Serve over rice.
Yield: 6 servings

Oh, I have made this before, also with pork....it is SOOOOOO good! Another variation that I have made on this is to mix equal parts apricot jam/preserves and salsa and cook them the same way with the chicken or pork.
